Roofing SafetySafety is the driving force within the Ontario Industrial Roofing Contractors Association (OIRCA). All OIRCA members including new member applicants must submit to a Safety Evaluation Audit to determine their company's compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act of Ontario. The OIRCA operates an Occupational Health and Safety Committee and provides volunteers for Provincial, Regional and Roofer Labour-Management Committees at the Infrastructure Health & Safety Association (IHSA). The OIRCA in conjunction with the IHSA released a 136 page publication on roofing safety titled, Health and Safety Guidelines for Low-Sloped Roofing.
